First Rollem AutoPunch installed
Rollem have supplied a bespoke version of the JetStream system to a European based printers who are using the system to cut B2 sheets and then auto collate the personalised playing cards into sets.The JetStream was installed in 2015 and now the latest Rollem machine, the Rollem AutoPunch is being added inline.
The Rollem AutoPunch was launched at Drupa this year, it can be configured to die punch paper, card and plastic up to A5 sheet size with stock weights up to 700gsm. It integrates with Rollem finishing machines upstream and wrapping and boxing options downstream. Dies are available in a range of sizes and a re-sharpening service is offered on request.
The installation of the Rollem AutoPunch will enable the company to save time and labour costs compared with the previous hand loading into a RAM punch. The AutoPunch has also been integrated into an existing wrapping machine to provide one complete inline print finishing operation.
