Rollem invests in 3D printing technology
Rollem have invested in two Makerbot 3D printers, the company has been using 3D printing technology for some time but the new printers have increased capacity and the range of uses.
The Makerbot Replicator+ and Makerbot Replicator Z18 are already making components for Rollem’s print finishing systems a number of which were previously made from metal and sourced externally.
Stuart Murphy, Managing Director said “3D printing of components in house will mean we reduce the costs and time of developing and manufacturing parts for trial as part of our research and development programmes.”
